A buddy and I were talking about seeing a concert that had 5 bands you love, each band playing a full set. My 2 favorite tastes in music are classic rock & heavy metal, so I actually came up with 2 shows that I would absolutely LOVE to see.
The classic rock show...
5) Pink Floyd
4) The Beatles
3) Led Zeppelin
2) Bruce Springsteen
1) Bob Dylan
It was tough leaving the Stones & the Who off, but I have seen them before, so Floyd, the Beatles & Zep stayed on the list. I've seen Bruce 8 or 9 times, and I've been to 45-50 Dylan shows. He's my #1.
The heavy metal show...
5) Motorhead
4) Metallica
3) Judas Priest
2) KISS
1) Iron Maiden
I've seen all these bands before, some of them together. My first concert was KISS, and Judas Priest opened. Sept 7th, 1979. I was 12. I've seen Iron Maiden open for Judas Priest, and saw Motorhead open for Maiden. I've seen Maiden 7 times, Priest, Motorhead, & Metallica 3 times, and KISS about 20 times. My neck would be in a neckbrace for all the head-banging I'd do at this show. Bang the head that doesn't bang!!!
