Cuisine from Your Region That You Don't Like

Most of the local food I'm ok with but someone else can have my share of the shellfish. I've never been able to get past the way clams, mussels and oysters look. I don't care if it's in soup, raw, deep fried or any other way...I'm not eating it.

    Folding/Travel/Outdoor CHAIRS

http://http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036U1TQA/ref=oh_details_o04_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I bought two of these last year and they've been great. The S/O is a big and tall guy and he hasn't complained about sitting in them so they must be ok. I'm kind of on the short side so I have a little...

Relationships with BHMs - Newbie needs your advice!

I think self-confidence takes some time to develop no matter what your size. I'm on the high side of 40 and I've been with BHM's older than me that are smokin' hot and see themselves as unattractive. I don't mind tossing a compliment his way but for the most part, in a relationship; I don't have...

    Inked?? Show off your tattoos!

These have all been done in the last 4 years or so. I have a couple more planned for the next year. I'd love to get a half sleeve but can't come up with anything that I really want. Middle of my back between shoulders. Back of my neck Left shoulder blade Right shoulder blade...

    HELP! Used Clothing Online

I've bought from the Facebook groups for accessories and lingerie. Some great deals there and everyone has been honest. I've been checking the local thrift stores lately to find some winter items I can wear for work; things I won't be too upset over when they are covered in grease and smell like...

Being a bbw without the right..curves???

I shop for jeans in the men's department too. The fit is better but I always have to hem them. I usually end up in the men's department anyway. I can't find any shirts for work that fit me in the shoulders that don't look completely ridiculous.

    Post Clothing You Have Sewn/Made

Cute dress! I'd love to find a pattern for a halter top in my size. I've made pajama pants for Matt and numerous costumes for the ex's kids. Most of the sewing I do is household stuff- curtains, slip covers, pet beds, etc. I don't have a picture of him in the pj pants. I'll have to take one. :)

Question for the guys...and the ladies buying their clothes

The man I'm with wears a 7xl-8xl (74" chest) in a shirt and 68/70 x 32 in pants. When I'm looking to buy clothing for him I usually end up at KingSize or Casual Male. So far this is working out ok. He works as a truck driver for a sod farm so the dress code is very casual. The problem is that...

    Sizing at Eddie Bauer?

I've ordered from Eddie Bauer before but I buy the lined jeans from the men's department. The women's clothes just don't seem to be cut properly if your waist and hip measurements are close and they run a little large. It's been a few years since I've purchased from them but the quality is good...

    Christmas Wishes

Me too! I'll take some books too. A thermal coffee carafe, some k-cups in the little sampler packs of 5 and new work boots. I have a few friends that have had some problems this year. My wish is mostly for them...that they get what they need financially or emotionally in the coming year.

    Has the baking begun?

Next weekend I'll be making the cookies. The plan is for the following cookies fluffernutter, mint chocolate chip, chocolate turtles, lemon crinkles plus cream cheese mints, drunken chocolate covered cherries & caramel dipped/chocolate covered pretzels. I'm thinking about doing a test run on an...

    BHM/SSBBW Car?

I have a 2011 Ford F-150 extended cab and he has a 2009 Chrysler 300. He's around 550 lbs and has no trouble driving either of them. The seats go back far enough in both of them. The truck is a little easier to get out of though since it's higher.

Role Call After Sandy Rampage - You Okay?

Cape May County in NJ checking in. Had a lot of wind and rain here but no power outages. The shore communities got hammered and in Ocean County where the SO lives they have been without power since Monday night.

    Stress and Itchy skin

Been to the dermatologist. After all the prescriptions they said to try the scrub but only use it 2 times a week. The rash went from my elbow to my wrist and was about 2 inches wide. It went away entirely after about 3 weeks. Nope...it was on my right arm. :)

    Stress and Itchy skin

I had a bad rash on my forearm when I was getting chemo. The doctor said it was a combination of the stress and all the steroids. Even after I moved away from the stress (his name is Ken) and stopped the steroids, the rash didn't go away. I've probably used every steroid and non-steroid cream on...

    Need some advice...

Thank you for the suggestions. I just took another look at the dresses and the size chart. For anything one piece to fit me in the waist it's going to be huge on top and the hips. *cusses like a sailor* I guess now I'm leaning toward a skirt and top. I like the dress moore2me suggested but after...

    Need some advice...

First of all let me say that clothes shopping is far from my favorite thing but this has become necessary... At the end of August we're going to see Gabriel Iglesias in Atlantic City. Matt was easy (even though it took a little time to find one in his size that he would wear); Hawaiian shirt and...
